Understanding CJC-1295 No DAC Dosing in Research
CJC-1295 No DAC (also known as Modified GRF 1-29 or Mod GRF) is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) that stimulates pulsatile growth hormone secretion from the anterior pituitary. The “No DAC” designation distinguishes it from the Drug Affinity Complex variant, which has a significantly longer half-life.
CJC-1295 No DAC vs CJC-1295 with DAC
CJC-1295 No DAC has a half-life of approximately 30 minutes, producing sharp, pulsatile GH release that closely mimics natural physiology. The DAC version has a half-life of 6-8 days, creating sustained but less physiological GH elevation. Most current research protocols favor the No DAC variant for its cleaner pharmacokinetic profile.
Research Dosing Protocols
Standalone Protocol
- Dose: 100-200mcg per administration
- Frequency: 1-3 times daily
- Administration: Subcutaneous injection
- Duration: 8-12 week research cycles
Combination with GHRP (Preferred Research Protocol)
CJC-1295 No DAC is most commonly studied alongside a GHRP such as ipamorelin:
- CJC-1295 No DAC: 100mcg
- Ipamorelin: 200-300mcg
- Combined timing: 2-3 times daily (morning, post-workout, pre-bed)
- Administration: Can be mixed in same syringe
Timing & Administration
Like all GH secretagogues, CJC-1295 No DAC should be administered on an empty stomach for optimal GH response. Fasting for at least 30 minutes post-injection before consuming food (especially carbohydrates and fats) helps maximize the GH pulse amplitude.
Optimal Research Timing Windows
- Morning: Immediately upon waking
- Post-exercise: 15-30 minutes after training completion
- Pre-sleep: 30-60 minutes before bed (complements natural GH release)
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water. Standard: 2mL BAC water per 5mg vial = 2,500mcg/mL. For 100mcg dose, draw 0.04mL (4 units on insulin syringe). See our reconstitution guide for complete instructions.
Dose-Response Data
Research demonstrates that CJC-1295 No DAC produces dose-dependent GH release with peak plasma GH levels occurring approximately 30 minutes post-injection. The GH pulse duration is approximately 2 hours, after which levels return to baseline — a pattern that closely mirrors endogenous GHRH-stimulated GH release.
Storage
Store lyophilized CJC-1295 at -20°C to 4°C. Reconstituted solution at 2-8°C, use within 3 weeks. See our storage guide.
